I'm a Minnesota-based photographer, videographer, and editor.
I studied digital media, advertising, and communications at Marquette University. I chose Marquette because they believe in the philosophy of high-quality education and having meaningful core values.
At work and in my personal life, I focus on following my core value of being the best version of myself. This involves being timely, creative, flexible, and always being open to try new things.

My Story
I grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota as an art lover, mainly expressing this through drawing, painting and photography.
My grandma gifted me with my first camera at age seven. It was a blue compact camera - perfect for travel. As my family and I traveled to national parks across the country, my parents discovered that the photos I captured showed promise of creativity and artistic ability.
In my high school, I could finally take my first photography class. I got to borrow a Canon DSLR camera and used it to my heart's content. Upon winning the highest Scholastic state art award for one of my photos, my parents gifted me with a camera of my own.
In college, I jumped into photojournalism and digital production, expanding my skills in videography, editing, advertising, graphic design, and building a professional foundation in strategic communication. This led to internships and freelance projects where I honed my skills, leading me to start Katie Craig Digital Media.
